I love this shot Pammy. The background blur is good, focus on the eye line is good.
Great composition.
But how did you get them to pose?

I do like the composition. Tried with cows myself but always seem to get the whole herd at the gate of fence so however one crops you see part of the others of the herd. Yours with just three looks far better than my attempts so all I can say is well done.

Very nice Pam. Good impact. Why not try to clone out the weeds?

Mike I looked and was not worried by the weeds at all in fact think that they add to the image. Wondering what made you think about taking them out. I suppose I like the spice - the thing that is bit different and distracting that they add to the picture.

Thanks guys, I took this on day 2 of my 365 project and was chuffed to bits when they posed so nicely for me. However it would have been better if that wasn't the same moment the heavens opened on me! It was a struggle to get the shot as I was trying to shelter the camera from the rain too!
Eric there were other cows too but they were just off to the side so I was able to keep them out of the frame although I did take a photo of them too as they looked so sad that I hadn't Very Happy

I'm not sure about the weeds Mike, I do and don't like them. Will have to have a think about that.

Great to hear that you have started a 365 day project as well. I wonder how many others are doing this following Chris's inspiration.

Suggest you have one shot with the weeds and one without then flick between to decide what you prefer. I love the pose and the weeds keep dragging my eye down to them.
